Bio: Hey, everyone! I'm Maxie and introducing myself has never been a strong point of mine, but here goes nothing...

I was born and raised in Opelika, Alabama. Writing and reading has always been an obsession of mine because it lets me live in my own world.

In a way, writing is a means to find out the truth about myself. When I write, I really like to get inside the characterís head. Every mood, every sentence is driven by that characterís personality traits, and I tend to lose myself at times while I write. I guess I get a thrill from being so many people at once, but ironically being so many other people tends to reveal parts of myself that I didnít even know was there.

My main inspiration would definitely be my grandmother who unfortunately passed away a while ago. Though I deeply miss her, I somehow feel as though she's still here. I remember she used to always say that she loved birds, and the day she of her funeral, a huge flock of birds followed the car carrying her coffin on the way to the ceremony. To this day, birds still fly around in my backyard in abnormal amounts and it always makes me happy to see them, I somehow feel like sheís watching over me. She is the main inspiration to my story, ďEquilibriumĒ, is the reason I started writing in the first place, and will ALWAYS be one of the most influential people in my life.

Music and Religion also play a big part in my inspiration. Basically, Iíll listen to anything thatís good, but I tend to lean towards to the hard rock type of bands. Some of my favorite bands are The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Underoath, My Chemical Romance and I have also grown to extremely enjoy American Idolís most recent winner, David Cook.

The Christian faith has always been an influence on my life but it wasnít until I started writing that I really started to be serious about it. Ever since I started to pay more attention to my Religion Iíve felt a lot more at peace with myself and I certainly am not going to stop this newfound devotion anytime soon.

Iím the kind of guy who will always tell you what I truthfully think, Iím not one to shy away from the hard truth. When I review, I will tell you my honest opinion, if something needs work Iíll tell you. However, Iíll never try to degrade someone and flaming is definitely a taboo in my book. I just follow the Golden Rule. I would want to know someoneís honest opinion, and I actually will sometimes prefer CONTRUCTIVE criticism to compliments.
By now Iím sure most of you have stopped reading this so Iíll stop here. But for those who are still here, just remember; We all have a story within us, you just need to know how to tell itÖ

Are you sure your not some kind of professional writer in disguise?

The way you portray each of these characters is simply amazing. Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, Kagome, and Jaken are all doing things I wouldn't have ever dreamed them of doing and yet you some how have kept them in character. The story flows and the speech is natural. I can't find one fault with anything you've done so far. But its the reaction of the characters that make this story so awesome.

One of my favorite reactions is when Kagome purified the Grolims. Man she was PISSED. lol

Quite possibly one of the best stories in the IY fanfiction world. I. Am. HOOKED. Don't stop writing!

Author's Response: No, no. I\'m not a professional writer by any means. I do happen to have a BA in Creative Writing, but I do not have a writing job. \r\n\r\nI\'m glad you find that I\'ve kept the characters in character. I struggle to do so and even with the things they end up doing that they wouldn\'t in any other circumstance, I\'m glad it works. \r\n\r\nI\'m glad you liked Kagome\'s purification of the Grolims. Some people found that it was hard to take because they\'re humans, but the question I think they have to ask themselves is \"were they?\" \r\n\r\nI hope you\'ll continue to read and that I\'ll hear from you again.

Another great poem by the great Knitting knots. I have to admit that a guy liking poetry is kinda wierd but I can't help it when it's your writing.

I love your writing so much that it somehow entwined into my own poetry in which dabble. I didn't even notice until I read this!

Although it doesn't beat "Sometimes he'd watch", this work further proves my theory that you are William Shakespear reincarnated.
