What kinds of stories are allowed?

See our Submission Guidelines for information on what kind of fiction ED will accept.

Who makes the rules around here, and how do I contact the site administrators?

This site (and every site connected to it) is owned by InuGrrrl. However, ED also has a full staff should she be unavailable to help you.

How do I submit stories?

If you have not already done so, please register for an account. Once you've logged in, click on Account Info and choose Add Story. The form presented there will allow you to submit your story.

Can I post original fiction or stories about my other favorite InuYasha pairings?

While we do allow stories that can include all of the InuYasha characters, the InuYasha/Kagome pairing must remain the focus of the story and they must be the dominant couple. Fiction that doesn't follow these guidelines will be removed from the site.

Original fiction (i.e. stories containing non-IY characters) are not welcome here at all unless they are crossovers. To learn more about acceptable fiction for this site, please visit our Submission Guidelines. .

Can I use word docs (.doc/.docx) to post my chapters?

Unfortunately, no. This site only accepts HTML AND TXT files for upload. If you need help using HTML for basic story posting, try this tutorial we've created for your convenience. But remember, changing the color of your font is a Terms of Service violation.

Are you accepting affiliates?

Yes, we are. If you'd like to become an ED affie, please use the Mail Us form to get in touch with an administrator. But keep in mind that we only accept InuYasha/anime/manga-related sites.

What is this TinyMCE box?

That box is a text editor and works like your basic Word tools. You can bold, italicize, underline, fix font sizes and alignment and all that good stuff through there.

It's really annoying. Why do you have it?

TinyMCE is a formatting tool that assists people who don't use HTML. If you don't like it, it's very easy to turn off. Simply go to your Account Info page, and then to Edit Preferences. UNCHECK the TinyMce option, and then save your preferences. There, all gone.

I'm not a member, but I'd like to post art on Imagery Eternal. Is that cool?

Sorry, but no. The Destined Awards and Imagery Eternal fanart gallery are only open to members of Eternal Destiny. So, if you'd like to enjoy the other parts of this site, you must register, and in the case of the awards, you must post fiction here.

I want to use a certain skin besides the site's default one. What can I do?

Eternal Destiny offers several awesome layouts that members can use as their default. Just go to your account and scroll down to "Edit Preferences". Then, choose a skin from the drop down menu. When you're done, hit submit and that will become the layout you see every time you log in. Or, if you'd like to switch frequently, simply use the layout selector on the main page each time you visit and choose the skin you'd like to use.

Why can't I view provocative and salacious stories? I'm of age, but the site won't let me!

First, you should know that while this website demands that its members be of legal age in their country, we do not padlock fiction when someone is logged in. If you're having trouble viewing an adult story, please make sure that you see the "account" link on the ED toolbar. That will let you know if you are logged in.

This site works on a timer to prevent unauthorized users from accessing an account in the event that the member was on a public computer and forgot to log out properly. So, don't panic. Chances are, you will simply need to log in again so the system can verify that you are who you say you are. :)

How do I fave an author or a story and how do I get alerts when a story or author has updated?

To fave a story or an author, visit the page of the story that lists its chapters. There, you will see two options:

1.Add Author to Favorites
2. Add Story to Favorites

Choose the one you'd prefer and you will be taken to a new page. Once there, scroll down the page and you will see a space that allows you to make comments or notes, and below that, a submit button. Pressing that button will save the author or story to your favorites and you will get e-mail alerts when either updates. But remember, you must press the submit button in order to save your preferences.

You haven't answered my question. What do I do?
