For years we've waited, anticipated, and now, we're finally celebrating the kiss we never thought would happen. It's freeing, vindicating, to see our favorite pairing express their love for each other with such a simple, yet all powerful, press of their lips... And to commemorate that absolutely "squee-worthy" moment in time, Eternal Destiny would like to offer up a new contest.
We want to hear your take on InuYasha's passionate declaration, "Kagome was born to meet me ...and I was born for her." Make it dreamy, make it pure, but always, make it about love everlasting between our beautiful hanyou and his lovely bride.
The official contest rules are listed below, and remember, this is a CANON UNIVERSE competition. However, you do not have to base your story on the final chapter of the manga. The heart of the entry should be based on InuYasha's statement, not just what took place in that particular episode.

A) One entry per author. Authors that submit more than one story will be disqualified entirely.
B) All entries must take place in the CANON UNIVERSE. Alternate universe entries will not be accepted.
B) Entries must be 2000 words or less and they are due no later than Saturday, 11:59pm, on May 1st 2010. Surpassing word count will lead to automatic disqualification. And, as always, all fictions must feature InuYasha & Kagome as the dominant couple. No exceptions.
C) All entries must be new and original work and cannot be posted to any other site until the contest has been officially closed and the winners have been announced. Authors that violate this rule and post their entry elsewhere will be disqualified. However, once the winners are named, feel free to post your fiction anywhere you wish.
D) When all entries are submitted and the contest is closed, the Eternal Destiny staff will choose two winners for 1st place and runner up. The lucky authors will be announced on Monday, May 3rd, 2010.
E) Entries will be posted in round robin format with each story being submitted as a new "chapter". You will find the submission link on the ED homepage listed as a featured fiction. Simply post your entry as a "chapter" with the following information in the author's note space:
Title: (Name of fiction)
Author: (Your ED username)
Word Count: (2000 or less)
Genre: (Canon Universe)
Rating: (Please rate your story accordingly)
Warnings: (Please warn for questionable/mature content.)
Summary: (Submit a line or two about your piece)
