This was so very cute. I believe Sesshomaru isn't just keeping an eye on Rin, he is looking out for his pack now! I love how you displayed Kagome and InuYasha's relationship, it showed such depth and love. I enjoyed this very much, well done!

Aww, maybe Sesshy just wants to keep an eye on Rin because he missed her. He didn't say anything degrading at all.

Ever since I started reading fanfiction and atching Inuyasha, I have taken to referring to my own youngerr brother as 'little brother' all the time. Its a bit funny.

Author's Response:

Very Japanese, to refer to your brother that way!  (the normal way to refer to one's sibling is by whether or not he or she is older or younger than you.  Little brother, Big sister...

I have Sessh hang around the village a lot.  Not constantly, usually out of sight.   Not all those stories will show up here, though, cause this is ED.  But I did put a time line of where the stories fall into place on my bio page here, whether they are posted here or not.  Read in order, they sort of tell a larger story.

Inu was just reacting, cause he's still feeling that Sessh looks down on him.  And probably extra edgy cause he was scared to death something happened to Kagome....In House Call which takes place a couple of weeks after this story, you see him acting better, but maybe in part because he really is glad that Sessh was there to help this time.

This was a wonderful piece.  The relief felt by them both was palpable.  It's really nice to see Kagome being able to take care of herself and not be portrayed as weak and helpless.  Having Sesshomaru still hovering around was also a nice touch.

As always, great work!

Author's Response:

Thank you ma'am...I'm glad you like!

It's amazing how NOT weak and helpless Kagome in the manga actually is...she's resourceful and brave and smart and doesn't crumple...looks the devil in the eye and says"Take this!"

I try not to make her less in my stories.
