Regardless of how the story may begin, it is in truth an Inu/Kag story.

The concept of the story was simple, yet so complicated at the same time.
It was a story of love that closely mirrored her own, and now, as she looked at the reflection of her tear-streaked face, she could not help but wonder if it had been worth the secret that she had kept from him and that they had kept from the world.

He has been regretting that decision ever since. 7 years later he is given the chance to meet his favourite band --The Vampiress Sisters-- when his best friend Miroku announces he is engaged to the silvery one of the band. Even being thier #1 fan like he was Inuyasha was never able to find out their real names. They always went by their stage names in public: Scarlet, Salithum, and Shadow. Inuyasha is more then startled to find out that the lead singer is the Kagome he had dated in junior high. He's even more shocked to learn that these three girls have taken the top 3 places in the 'Hottest Females On The Planet' list . . . . . .with lead singer Shadow at the very top.

I thought of this while watching Moulin Rouge......(AU) Kagome has been a ward of King Naraku since she was 5 years old. Her only friend was her handmaiden Sango. When Naraku begins to fall for the 16 year old ward Kagome begins to fear for her life. When Inuyasha is brought in has her bodygaurd the two begin to fall deeply in love.....Naraku gets jealouse and an all out war starts...........Will Inuyasha and Kagome ever get together.
In this story, Naraku is still evil, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru Get along.
